The Albert City Threshermen's show was a hit. After a bit of organizing we were able to get 11 spaces for Ferguson tractors and 6 spaces for implements so we could have all the Ferguson things together.

Tom Wingert from Sioux City had his F40,TO30, and 2N Ford Ferguson. Ted and Don Feekes had 2 TO35s and 2 TO 30s. Lee Folkert was there with his TO20 and Corn Planter. Gene had his remote controlled Ferguson---What a hit it was.

Mike Peterson had his TO35, Hay Rake and Spike Tooth Harrow there and I had the TO30, Finger Weeder, and Plow.

We had a real good representation of Ferguson tractors and implements. We found lots of folks interested in and sharing experiences with their Ferguson's. On Saturday as Mike Etzel and I were talking when a nice gentleman approached us and asked if we would be interested in a Carry All that he had. After talking for a while , asking price, condition, etc. Mike conceded that he had no way to haul it home so I decided to take a look at it as it was only about 5 miles away from the show grounds. Gene and I drove up to the owners place Sunday morning and after our inspection I told the guy that I would take it off his hands. I've wanted one for some time and this one just dropped in my lap. Gene helped me load it and back to the show we went.

The Threshermen had made a few changes this year. The main change was to erect a nice steel building for the Feature Tractor which this year was J.I.Case. Next year they will feature Massey Harris. As we were parading our Ferguson's past the announcer on Saturday the comment was made that they would like to feature Ferguson some year.

All in all, we had a fantastic time, and look forward to going back again.
